The Playhouse

Trey and Charlotte received lots of new toys at Christmas and then at Charlotte's birthday party two weeks later. Uncle Mark gave Trey a cardboard playhouse that was just his size for Christmas. We decided to wait to open it until a time we would be home all day and needed a new diversion. Last weekend was the perfect time. The weather was extremely windy and we were going to be home all day Saturday and Sunday after church.

Jay went down the basement and brought up the box for the playhouse. Luckily it was assembled in a mere 10 minutes. I can't say that about most toys.

Trey had so much fun playing inside it and popping his head of the windows! He wanted to direct the coloring and would only use the marker on it if we helped him. I guess all those conversations we have about only coloring on the paper make it hard for him to color on walls, even if they are just cardboard.

Charlotte absolutely loves the playhouse. Almost as much as she loves her phone.

They especially enjoy playing in the house together. I love how much Charlotte adores Trey. We had just told him to stop squeezing her hand and she still is smiling at him.

Peekaboo! Can you see me?
